The ministry of ALEPH TAU, is committed to protecting your privacy. We allow you to provide as much personal information as you feel comfortable providing. We do not release personal information about you to any third party, except as expressly permitted by you or required by law or court order. We take all reasonable steps to protect your privacy, regardless of how much information you provide. You control what personal information you provide to us online, and what we can do with such information. You may provide us information about yourself to help us make our Web sites more responsive to you. We may ask you to supply personal information to us online, including your e-mail address, during a registration process. Some of this information is given voluntarily, and the word "optional" appears next to the relevant questions. On occasion, we collect additional personal information in optional survey forms, order forms, donation forms and conference registration forms. Demographic information voluntarily provided by you may be combined with site usage reports to create a profile of users and their preferences.
"Tracking" Information TOP
ATM assigns a random number anonymously to each user for tracking content preferences and traffic patterns. This random number enables us to record how many times customers access certain pages, without "naming" who those customers are. This random number, called a "cookie," is kept in a file on your computer. Cookies by themselves cannot be used to determine the identity of any user.
We also log IP (Internet Protocol) addresses, or the location of your computer on the Internet, for systems administration. These IP addresses are not used to track your personal browsing history or contact information; we do not intend to use this data to correlate to any personally identifying information. We simply like to know who is taking our files.
What ATM does with the "Tracking" Information? TOP
We use the information you provide to personalize portions of the site, so that you receive content that is most useful to you. Other information enlightens our development of products and services, making them more responsive to your needs.
We ask for optional information from time to time so we can maintain a dialogue further with you about our new products and services. We will only contact you on an ongoing basis if you permit us to do so. In each e-mail we may send you, you will have the option to unsubscribe and not receive future e-mail from us. ATM's Rights to User's Material
If you send any communications or materials to the Site by electronic mail or otherwise, including any comments, data, questions, suggestions or the like, all such communications are, and will be treated as, confidential as they are your intellectual property. Thus, your idea, song, art, poetry, painting, image of sculpture, .jpeg, or recording are your sole property yet we will use and borrow afore said material with the utmost care and respect to the desires of the artist / user. Also, any material submitted to this Site may be adapted, broadcast, changed, copied, disclosed, licensed, performed, posted, published, and displayed on THE HOT SEAT with permission only. All art may be transmitted or used by ATM anywhere in the world, in any medium, for the period of posting or until the time you/user desides to opt-out. Furthermore, ATM is free to use, without any compensation to you, any concepts, ideas, know-how or techniques contained in any communication you send to the Site for any purpose whatsoever, including but not limited to, developing, manufacturing and marketing products using such information. This keeps a positive flow between us so praising our Savior can be a most creative synergy. FAITH ARTS NETWORK FAN Alert emails
Faith Arts Networks Artists may, from time to time, receive Faith Arts Network Alerts; these are our way of sending important information that may include (but is not limited to) system administration issues, FAITH ARTS NETWORK creative feature changes, fundraising appeals, or FAITH ARTS NETWORK operations notices. All Artists must be able to receive FAN Alerts through the e-mail address they have registered in their FAITH ARTS NETWORK Profile. This is a requirement for using FAITH ARTS NETWORK services.
Apart from the public information in the Ministry Directory, accessing account information is limited to editors via login ID and password, and to FAITH ARTS NETWORK system administrators.
We do not monitor or modify information provided by site users unless we have to do so in order to:
1. Conform to legal requirements
2. Protect and defend the rights, reputation, or property of Faith Arts Network and ALEPH TAU MINISTRIES
3. Enforce the terms of use of our services.
Our servers are behind firewalls to prevent unauthorized external access to the site's database; we do periodic data back-up and integrity checks.
Should you ever see what appears to be a potential or actual lapse in security and/or a misuse of our services, please send email immediately to support@alephtau.net and we will investigate at once.
